The SafMed range of disposable, plastic aprons on a cardboard hanger are all sold in quantities of 200. There are 25 aprons attached to each cardboard hanger: 8 cardboard hangers per quantity of 200.
SafMed also supplies the apron dispensers / hangers free of charge to any customer that uses the SafMed aprons.
The dispenser card aprons can be conveniently hung on a wall or location of choice. This will reduce wastage and avoids the danger of loose aprons lying on the floor. Loose aprons on the floor may pose a serious “slipping” risk to any potential employee and / or patient.
The cardboard hanger aprons also enable fast and efficient stock control. It is quicker, more accurate and easier to count these types of aprons as opposed to bundled, loose aprons.
All apron minimum thickness: 20 Microns
Material thinner than 20 Microns does not stand up to normal use of the apron and has to be replaced in a far shorter time, which becomes false economy. SafMed Aprons are manufactured from “Virgin” Low Density Polyethylene (LDPE) & not re-gran Material (re-granulated) which is plastic waste products, which are collected & then re-granulated to make raw material, and then converted into plastic film. We strongly suggest that Aprons manufactured from this re-gran should not be used in a Hospital environment.
